Aston Villa job
So I probably owe a lot of you an explanation about aston villa. You have all been so supportive, so thanks!
I did get offered the job!
I turned it down though…. I know…… ludicrous….
Here’s the thing. It just wasn’t me… it was very corporate. Suits and cubicles in a rammed office. Its just not me!
The guy who would have been my manager is a lovely guy but as a boss he would have driven me crazy! I know I would have fallen out with him.
I would have been very fed up with the whole thing before too long. It was the same with queensbridge. Being told to tuck my shirt in rubs me the wrong way. There’s more important things!
I am gutted. I thought id found my dream job. However I think dream jobs are best left as just that. Dreams. I’m not sure they really exsist….
Its not all bad. My current employers have offered me a new position on a better salary, so that’s good!
Of course I’ll still be freelancing as well!
So thanks to everyone for your support and encouragement. It just wasn’t meant to be! I reckon being integral to me and the person I am is pretty important these days. I’m not willing to sacrifice mine and consequently my families happiness for a pension and guarenteed job security. Again, I think there’s more important things.
